Re: Vs Cods

We were very poor in the second half. But a point is better than FA

Got to be happy with that. Game of two halves. Missed chances in the first half cost us. A point nearer to safety.

Re: Vs Cods

Fair result I suppose.
Thought our front trio did quite well in the first half, even though Walton should have scored the second time.
But unsurprisingly we had more problems in the second half, as we always do.
The biggest problem for me is our lack of quality and some sort of attacking ambition in midfield. Coyle dominates his part of the field, but in his opinion it is a 4x10 meter area or less on the right side of our half. I don’t concur.

Coyle is the holding midfield player. Nelson is the creative one but, he didn't have a good second half. Needed too much time on the ball.....

I have not found Nelson to be very constructive in the past either. And a holding midfielder is not banned from doing something constructive, such as passing a teammate or crossing the halfway line. Even Love is more constructive than Coyle when he is playing in midfield. Thought we played better when Ben Woods was in midfield. It is all about opinions, but I do not like either Khumbeni or Coyle at the moment.

Agree. But it is always a game of two halves with Stanley. The quite horrible stats show that we are 8-6-5 if games were first half only. And yet we are in 21st place.

Re: Vs Cods

Felt for Tyler and Elvis, as both could have scored

Both sides had chances and both played well/poor in parts.

Another point gained
