It certainly wasn't pretty but a welcome 3 points in any case. Thought Phil would've/should've got motm but it went to Darren Kempson.
It was a scrappy game as it was always gonna be with 2 sides fighting for league survival and the lads got stuck in with the exception, as usual, of Craney - or Useless Eustace as someone around me christened him tonight. Really don't see how he warrants an automatic place in the team week in week out.
On the positive side, good to see Cav back and not only lasting the 90 minutes but playing a blinder.

However much we look at the could have beens and the maybes at the end of the season the records will show that we got three points and are a long way towards safety so the master plan worked. I just wish it had been tomorrow and I could have been there.

I thought it was a decent game, maybe a little bit of cancelling out by both sides scrapping to avoid getting sucked into the relegation mire, but the Atmosphere created by the Ultras was Great,I did not know Bill Oddie was at the match but all credit to the fans for the Bill Oddie song (Red Army) that seemed to galvanise most of the Clayton End Excellent Stuff!

Must admit I thought Tony Roberts was superb with the banter last night, His reaction took me back to the old Unibond days, having a laugh and enjoying the game...........well done Mr Roberts
