Re: vs Grimsby
Crowds are actually dropping, despite the fact that the sun was shining and we have a sun screen now (roof).
Grimsby looked to have brought a decent number (more than 350 I thought), so were there less that 1000 there from Accrington today?

Be better still if/when they fill the back in - only one way for the noise to get out then and it will stop me getting neck ache with the winds howling through it

That's good to hear. More atmosphere can be such a positive thing in many ways.

Instead Coleman was celebrating the heroics of his shot-stopper after Dunbavin saved two penalties and played a starring role in only Accrington's second away point of the season."

It is very worrying TM, especialy when you take into account that the little uns are now back at school..........cant be blamed on the 'holiday season' quite so readily now.............I wonder if the recent negative comments in the press have had an effect?...............I suspect so, therefore do we need a Google Page Ranking specialist at the club I wonder?

No, an excellent cross from Ian Dunbavin to Ricky Kirby during the crossbar challenge. The ball hit poor Rick knocking the Mic to the floor. And another a little later that parted Ricks hair, which may have shaken Rick up a bit as his legs gave way trying to leave the pitch.

Did you think so? I would have said there were no more than 300 Codheads there (the Whinney Hill away section looked pretty empty), so I would say the home attendances are holding fast at the 1000 mark. Not too bad (by our standards), considering our recent results.

Re: vs Grimsby
Who cares how many came, if the team can continue to play like they did today, then the crowds will rise. What disappointed me was there was not more Burnley and Blackburn fans at the match, considering our nearest rivals weren't playing until next week. But as I said who cares. What a wonderful sight todays game was. When they went 2-1 they didn't let their heads drop, but upped the tempo and deservedly scored another 2 IMHO. Could easily have been more. Rosco and Mullers look the ideal partnership up front and Browny and Proccie had stormers today. The whole team played really well, it was just funny seeing Proccie running around with the Number 15 shorts and no number or name on the shirt (using the blood shirt due to injury earlier). Will be interesting to see the goals when they get put on here (will miss tomorrows Granada reports due to being in Northumberland). If they keep this up, then people (including me) will stop calling for Coleys head. But I will say in my defnce, if we are to be serious contenders for the play-offs, we have to beat the Darlingtons, Lincolns and Peterboroughs of the league. Also see Morecambe are up to 6th (only 2 points above us).

Re: vs Grimsby
There could be a problem with the goals clip today. The championship isn't on. we may have to wait for Granada Reports tomorrow.
