Re: vs Hereford
Brilliant performance today, makes you wonder why they are where they are in the league. I also wonder if we are going to still have trouble with our sheep invasion on these boards after this result

Re: vs Hereford
A much, much better performance today.
With Antwi at the back we actually look like we might snatch a 1-0 now. He looks quality, but also loves the game.
Brown was awesome in midfield. I hope we appeal against the red card.

Re: vs Hereford
Yippee!!!! what a match, Godwin antwi deservedly got MOM again.... unlike David Brown's sending off which was undeserved and he was having a great game too!!! the ref certainly was going for the underdogs today and majority of his decisions went their way...crap decisions at that
But all that said 3 pts, way to go lads
Oh and cav said in the bar after he better think about rehearsing his goal celebrations if this carries on

Re: vs Hereford
Great performance from the boys today. totally agree about godwin he is class. good to see cav back to form thats two in two now. u can really see the difference in him and leam now they look really confident at the back. must be cos of the new boy. av never felt so safe as i have in the last 2 games. 7 more clean sheets and we will equal stockports record.hehe. thought david brown was awesome too till that unjust red card he wasnt even the last man. lets hope we get good news at the hearing and all this hard work that has been done in the last 2 weeks doesnt go to waste

Re: vs Hereford
Was anyone else impressed when the tannoy announcer reported that the fourth official had found five minutes of extra time from somewhere?!!!

Yes, he's getting the hang of it now, is Tannoyman coaching him? Pretty good pre-match too, apart from the lack of Cart On
But the half time, "I'm losing the will to live", was best

Re: vs Hereford
I have to say, that performance today was one of the best seen in ages. Shame the officials tried to spoil it by some crass bad decisions. Best one was in the second half when the liner by the main stand wasn't sure which way to give a throw in, he looked at the ref, who looked back as he hadn't a clue, shrugged his shoulders and gave the throw to Hereford. Every fan could see it was a Stanley throw. I am not sure how we didn't get both goals chalked off for some mysterious reason, because the fouls he gave against us were a joke. Yes David Brown fouled an opposition player (in the Hereford half of the pitch) with 2 Stanley defenders and a Hereford player in Stanley half of the pitch and gets a red card. Still haven't figured that one out yet. I can understand why JC is loosing his cool with match officials, because they are crap and there is no other way to put it. The crowd was disappointng in a way, especially as there were no Prem or Championship games this weekend, but at least 1848 did turn up and that is a 500 improvement on the paying crowds of late, so maybe we shouldn't complain. Overall, all the team should get another high score in the papers tomorrow, and Godwin Antwi, if he was to stay here next season, we would loose him in the winter sales, he is an absolute gem and David Martin made a world class save late n the second half. Absolute gem from the new tannoyman re where did he get all that time from.
