Re: Vs Tranmere Today
A good battling performance today, but like we thought when the team was announced - who is going to score for us? We don't have a single all-out attacking forward who can worry the opposition's goalie, so I am very disappointed that the young lad from the academy isn't getting a look in. I don't think Danny Coyne had a save to make, apart from a couple of powder puff efforts in the first half. Thank God for Kenny Arthur for keeping us in the draw.

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
I enjoyed the game, the result was not surprising with both teams playing one up front, Tranmere supported their striker better than us. Kenny Aurther played well and deserved Man of the Match. Phil Edwards looked handy.

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
very acceptable performance they certainly did not look in a lower division than Tranmere, a deserved replay.

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
Good performance a work rate
Good result
Good noise and support as always
Good saves by kenny to keep us in the game
Good misses from tranmere to not score
What a bloody good day
+
The only problem i had was today and the reason why we arnt scoring is.... We cant play one upfront!!!!! Mullin on his own is no good at all!! He tried like mad today to create things etc but wasnt happening. Our defence would play a superb ball to mullers in the air , he would head it on and no-one was there to latch on to it. Why not stick the pace of Clarke on and see what could happen? Gamble coley, gamble!

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
I see cashman! Well we better win away now I will be a tough game away , but they wernt at all better then us today , just using ugly route one alot! Nothing special at all. But coleman needs to gamble , does anyone else agree with me that murdock should be playing and mullin shouldnt be on his own?

was a few of us thought Clarke should have been shoved on to assist last 20 mins or so, but thats why were fans n coleys a manager.

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
you are right there coley is the manager so he knows what he is doing and we are the fans and if we did it our way every week we would win every week great performance from the team today! i would of thought jamie would of played upfront with mullin as gornell could not play! did some of the away fans chuck something at kenny 2nd half as i remember seeing him picking something up and giveing it to the ref!

I thought the noise was coming from the game on the pitches outside the FES behind them but I could be wrong

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
I did hear tranmere fans singing and i think that was at the back of the terrace as they probably didnt know there was a minute silence on. However you could hear a few sushhhh noises and everything went back to quiet again.

Re: Vs Tranmere Today
tranmere fans where arriving in high spirits and had no idea there was a minutes silence.. the rest of the fans shushed them and they did.
I think the tranmere fans did well all things considered.
