By thunder, we don’t half get our fair share of penalties.

Re: walsall
Terrific defensive display. Conor man of the match but it wasn't just goalie vs the rest, everyone put in a shift, crucial tackles and blocks not just from the back line but also from those tirelessly tracking back. Pen looked soft from our distant view, but we followed it up with 10 mins of quality football before we got dragged into a scrap. Had to weather some heavy pressure in the second half, took us a while to adjust to Seamus going off at HT, but gradually came back into it with a more counter-attacking set-up.

Re: walsall
Excellent away win. Team spirit carried us through. Walsall created lots of pressure and chances. Which we withstood manfully in no small part to a goalkeeper Ripley. We gave the ball away abit to much first half after we scored early but improved and created good chances second half ourselves. Anderton continues to impress. The whole team did pretty well. A minor quibble was Scott brown giving the ball away a lot but he made up for it with excellent defending. The other quibble is zanzala continuing to get the start in front of other forwards.(but hey the manager probably knows best). It was a good game to watch from too good passing and dribbling sides.

Re: walsall
Excellent! I’ll get the word out to my friends and relatives to sell everything they own and put it all on another Stanley promotion.

Re: walsall
The only thing that matters is what the result says.
We got battered for long periods and Conor had a great day.
Hope Seamus is ok because defensively we need him particularly away from home.
Really worried its a recurrence of the groin injury.
I’ve a feeling Tuesday is going to be highly entertaining with a few goals.

Re: walsall
Great result and particularly pleased about the clean sheet. I thought today was likely to be a reality check, but the run goes on …..

Re: walsall
Damn good team performance today, fer my money Walsall are the best side we have played so far this season, yeh certainly couldn't fault anyone i thought, Conor made some great stops, Sean Mac was unfortunate i thought not to end up with a couple of goals, but what the hell a great hard earned 3 pts today.

Re: walsall
I forever get pilloried on here for being biased. Anyway feel free to have a pop because having seen that run by Jordan on the highlights as opposed to live it looks even better. Unlucky at the end as well. Good save.
The futures bright .........
