Wattie Dick R.I.P.

Very sad to hear of the passing of one of Walt Galbraiths lads, have just read on fishy,another of me boyhood idols gone. R.I.P.

Very difficult mate footballs a completely different game these days, Ive seen our lads play some great stuff this season, a while since now, But would reckon most of Walt Galbraiths lads would walk in any team in whats now League2. IMHO. Though i was a young lad back then so me judgement could be biased.

I would tend to agree with Cashman in that Wattie and most of the other members of Galbraith's team would manage League without any problems, but to be honest it was an different game then the balls were much heavier, the boots much more restrictive and the pitches in general poorer.

You're right Cashy ...Wattie Dick was a good, honest Footballer who'd give his all for the team !....happy memories, RIP Wattie !.

R.I.P. a skillful, smooth player, lots of skill and not afraid to get stuck in. Can,t believe he was 85, were the heck has the time gone.
