Is there a reason these items are not available through the official website? Unfortunately, I can't just pop into the club shop on my lunch break.

I bought one of the T shirts for the last home match which is in white and has the club badge, underneath it says Accrington Stanley F.C. Conference Champions 2005/06. and under this in smaller letters though big enough to read its states "the club that refused to (or would not) die" or something along those lines. Can't quite remember exactly but it is near enough for the general idea. Got to say though, cannot understand why these are not for sale on the website - although I can understand why the home and away shirts have been taken offline. though it seems all clothing has been taken offline.

Re: Welcome to L2 badges
Thanks for the info, Ozzy. I'd certainly rather have one of those than some second-rate badge from a cash-in-quick merchant on ebay. However, it's about time the club advertised them!

Sorry I was talking about the online club shop but if you say there are some in the club shop at the ground I will be paying a visit very soon.
I do find it very strange that in another thread we discussed this same topic with KazFaz who I believe has some input into the commercial affairs at Stanley but unfortunatly decided not to mention these t-shirts, why ???

Re: Welcome to L2 badges
Personally, I don't think the club has fully embraced e-commerce at the moment.
I think the official site is massively under used (passing on news, etc), the online shop isn't fully utilised either, which is a crime in this day and age. I don't even think that e-mail is used effectively, as I've never received replies to mails that I've sent via the official site.
I don't like having a go, but I think opportunities have been missed by not embracing this 'not-so-new' technology.

I think that's a whoosh for the commercial director.
Not clever on shopping myself, but the demand far exceeds the supply.

A little harsh... she is doing a good job and generating a lot of new income for the club as well as the revamped and much improved program and lots of ideas she has had implimented at the club. All the new sponsorship deals blah blah..
Your just concentrating on soemhting you can see.. A bit like a good goalkeeper is only known by his one bad save and not the thousand good saves...
I agree... online shop is a missed opportunity and lots of sales missed when we got promoted/champions .... but lots of other stuff has gone on off the back of that...
Only one pair of hands... she will get it sorted by start of next season ready for the league

Yes, probably. I hope you're right.
I'm not concentrating on anything, I can only see what I see.
I don't like this site becoming a shopping channel, and a poor one at that.
I went up to the shop today to get a season ticket, and feeling on the up would have bought other stuff, it wasn't there!
Good defence Kipax, but it's not just me, is it?

You are reporting somebody for selling £2.50 badges? Get a life!
