Well done, Coley!

With everything that's going on at the moment and with the lowest budget in the FL, it's a real tribute to the stature of the man that he's being considered for this...

John Coleman
Friday 2nd Oct 2009

Stanley boss nominated for Manager of the Month
Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has been nominated for the Manager of the Month award for September.

In our six league and cup matches last month we won four, drew one and lost one, including a victory over League One side Oldham in the Johnstone Paint Trophy.

John has been nominated alongisde Bournemouth's Eddie Howe, Rochdale's Keith Hill and Shrewsbury's Paul Simpson. The winner will be announced on Sky's Gillette Soccer Saturday from midday.

Good on yer, Coley. Really hope you go on to win it!

Well done to the management team, and the team themselves. Have to say in the last month I've probably seen the best football that ASFC has played since returning to the league. It's a pity that off the field events/politics are still clouding the future whilst once again the on field bit takes another step upwards

Well done Coley!

Hope he's wins it, they deserve a lot of praise, after all the off the field events, they keep the players focused and win 4 games, draw one and lose one not bad going really.

In JC/JC I trust

Re: Well done, Coley!

I think that Keith Hill at Rochdale will win it as they are top of the form guide. I'm sure they use that as their guideline. But if they factor in things like goals scored, budgets, who you have played against etc etc then Coley wins at a canter. Good on ya Coley

Great to be nominated, well done, but let's all hope that he doesn't win it! October's always tough enough!

I'm 100% behind the players and the management. They deserve every credit for continuing to perform in light of the current situation. For Coley to be nominated at this time is a massive accolade, whether he won it or not.

I feel certain TM, that if John and his team don't allow themselves to be deflected by 'That Emergency' that other Manager of the Month Nominations will surely come his way before the end of the season!!...'til then ...Well done JC..JB and 'Our Reds!'

'ON STANLEY...ON!!!'
