Thumbs up Well done Shaun Whalley

I'd just like to say well done to shaun for not rolling around on the floor like an overpaid italian when he got nutted for the sending off last night!!! I thought he handled himself with great dignity.

I'm a firm believer that there is no room in the game for the constant rolling around and play acting that goes on, and having seen it again on sky sports news this morning, I'm proud we have a young player that does feel pressured into doing this.

The lad squared up to him, give him a bit of a nut, Shaun put his hand to his head and walked away and let the ref deal with it. It was a great display of maturity and a great example to the youngsters that came to watch the game.

So may I be the first to say
WELL DONE SHAUN!!!

Re: Well done Shaun Whalley

Unlike one of their players who did 6 roll-overs from a little tap on the halfway line!

Re: Well done Shaun Whalley

There was another of their lads aswell who was pretty fluent, the one who Phil Edwards tackled on the edge of the area in the second half. He went down like Phil had clattered him and broke his leg, this got Phil booked and then 10 seconds later he was off down the wing like a greyhound after a hare. There is absolutely no need for this kind of shameless playacting.

And the fella who tripped over his own foot right in front of the Stanley Fans, squealed like a pig, then tried telling the Ref it was inside the box!!

Aye that was ridiculous. It wasn't even a foul, never mind a penalty!

Still, I wouldn't have been surprised to see the ref give it?!

Yes, well done Shaun.

Used to make me cringe when we had Rory, and to a lesser extent Gary.

Thought Rovers were shameless .
