Well Done Smithy

As one who has always believed in him I just wanted to say how pleased I was for him today to score and receive a decent applause off at the end of the game, well done lad Did you see him when he scored ?? if all the players had the same pride and passion for Stanley we wouldn't go far wrong.

Yes, really pleased to see him back. Hope he gets a chance to establish himself. Keep the faith Coley.

Re: Well Done Smithy

Excellent performance from Jonathan. He'll only get better too if played alongside Mike Flynn. Can't help thinking though that one R.Williams will get the nod again, undeservedly, next match.

At first i thought it was a straight red, but I was too annoyed with the bloody ref to take much notice.

I have always believed in him and im sooooo glad to see him back in the first team again. The only problem is though that even though he did so well, Robbie will just walk back into the side and then what will happen to Smithy?

Re: Well Done Smithy

A wag on the terraces said to me a couple of years ago that he thought Sparky must have some dodgy polaroids of Coley, because he always seemed to walk straight into the team. Could he possibly have passed them on to Rocky??

Smile Re: Well Done Smithy

We all know there are certain players, Cav and Robbie Williams being two, who could have a couple of broken legs, concussion and Sumartran wet-sock disease and still get picked for the team each week. Fair enough! Every manager has players he rates very highly and chooses almost automatically. Just a shame in this case that the latter isn't a better player though.

Re: Well Done Smithy

yup accordin to my uncle and grandad smithy was magnificent last saturday!!, i agree that there is no comparison between smithy and every other stanley center back!!!

IT IS A DISGRACE THAT HE IS NOT THE 1ST NAME ON THE TEAM SHEET!!!
MAYBE IF HE LIVED ON COLEMAN CLOSE HE WOULD GET PICKED!!!

MR COLEMAN TAKE NOTE!

why r we slating coleman???

He must know what he is doing so give him a chance he must just rate williams as a better player than smithy dont forget he works with them all week so let the man in the know be the gudge.
