Just taken this from our Official Site, things just keep on getting better, wonder if we still have enough time for the 2018 bid, if it comes to England!! I'm sure that if Grimps and Redash get stuck in, we will manage it

Stanley to host national final
Accrington Stanley are delighted to announce that the Crown Ground has been chosen to host the English Schools' Football Association U18 Girls College Trophy Final.
The club had been in talks with the ESFA about hosting one of their finals this year and the decision for it to be this particular one was made following the Accrington and Rossendale College girls team reaching the final last week. They will take on Filton College from Gloucestershire.
Speaking about the news Stanley chief executive Robert Heys said "It is great honour to be hosting a national final at the Crown Ground, and is testament to the hard work of our ground staff that we have been selected as a venue. We look forward to welcoming both sides here in March."
It is expected that the match will kick off at 1.00pm although this and other details will be confirmed nearer the time.
The big thing about this particular game is that Accrington & Rossendale College's girls football academy got to the final of the British College's Plate last year so this is their second national competetion final in only their second season in existance. I had the priviledge of working with them last year. I went to last years final with them and had one of the best experiences of my life warming the keeper up in the lovely surroundings of Doncasters Keepmoat Stadium. What a day!!!
