it is unlikely but not wholly unachievable. To reiterate again though, anywhere near that figure and we can expect to make twice as much on the retail within the ground. It wouldn't work RIGHT THIS MINUTE though because the ground doesn't make any money. IF all stands were selling pie and pints to the level that the Clayton End does then we are starting to make inroads to that break even figure. AND 3726 is based on currently all paying £20. What percentage of our current crowd do not pay full?

Yes I agree with that. Once all the stands are fully how Andy holt wants them
Tombe and selling beer/pies than the money in will be a lot better. Certainly not wholly unachievable at all.

Re: Wham Stadium
I don't mind paying £20 it's cheap compared to some, I know someone going to Crewe on Saturday he's paying £26

Re: Wham Stadium
The pricing structure is simple to put right. We have a cheaper price for early bird season ticket buyers, then an adult price and child price. The problem with catering at the ground for half time is there is simply not enough time to get served and back to you seat, perhaps an outlet at every corner and middle. I am talking about removable cabin type booths where pie, fish and chips can be bought at a reasonable price. maybe a little half time entertainment, it is the little things that make the experience worth while.

Re: Wham Stadium
i think a lot thats been said has been done to death over the years. it,s impossible for andy holt or anyone else to cater for everyones own little improvements. for me missing out on promotion last season was a bigger set back for us than any of the others. being a northern club in a mainly southern based league will hardly cram in the fans especially when you,ve played em a few times. if we,d have gone up i still don,t think we,d regulrly attract 2500 though. its something we,ve got to live with. you could pull the wham down start afresh and gates would not be much better.

While what you say is in the main true, We can not give up so easily. we do need to climb a division and at least hold our own for the first season. Then push on with im[rovements to the ground and some of the ideas posted. It is worth a shot.

Re: Wham Stadium
Why not initiate a season ticket target this summer?
If the club sell XXXX amount of season tickets before the first home game, the price will be £XXX per fan instead of £XXX

i agree with your views on promotion and then ground improvements next. we don,t want to get into a cart before the horse situation with the best scoreboard and away toilets in the conference.

Re: Wham Stadium
Top of the list has to be getting people through the turnstiles on match day!!
No good having a shiny new stadium with no fans, regardless of what league we will be in. Maybe it goes hand in hand improving facilities will attract more fans?
Just the longer we leave not attracting kids the longer the process it will be to bring he next generation through!
I'd love to get promoted into League One but I'd rather wait a few seasons and build a fanbase and also get things up to scratch off the field that will help sustain a football league club, If were fortunate enough to be able to upgrade the stadium in the mean time then great!

Re: Wham Stadium
as regards not having time to queue for pies etc during half time I agree. How about someone coming round the stands selling pies , a bit like ice cream in the cinema , that may boost sales adding to catering profits , it is just a suggestion.

Re: Wham Stadium
God you lot are so 20th century. Pretty soon you'll be able to order from a mobile app and a drone will fly your Meat and tattie treat to you. In the meantime just get to the fanzone a couple of mins before half time - it's not like you are going to miss a wonder goal from Sean is it?
