What about these two for a front pairing?

Adebayo Akinfenwa & Barry Conlon both available on free transfers from Northampton Town & Chesterfield now that would be a front two who would score goals galore at League Two level

Conlon...... maybe.

Akinfenwa turned down a big offer to stay at Northampton so theres no chance we could get him

We can't offer a competitive wage to Darran Kempson, but yeah! Bayo & Conlon up front next season! Why not bring Paddy Vieira in as an anchorman as well?

Maybe Turner and Kee up front if Kee stays? Chris has played there before at a lower level and done quite well.

Must take 'The Jeff Stance' here, in his absence from the thread. Turner is a talented winger who can cross the ball with both feet. He's not like Bobby Grant who was a so-so winger turned into a talented striker. Surely we should be looking to utilise Chris' wing play more rather than shifting him up top?

Strangely yes - despite his ?failings? this season i think he could be one to watch next season.

Bobby Grant was probably considered about as successul (albeit from less starts than mac) as Sean this time last year....

Re: What about these two for a front pairing?

Barry Conlon is only good when he can be bothered turning up, he is also a bad trainer. If you remember Dsane, he didnt get on with Coley as he was a bad trainer.
He has also struggled with fitness and stamina.
Not ideal.

You may regret that, you have not seen the size of my hat, plus I do not think that anybody would like to eat WM's hat

Re: What about these two for a front pairing?

interesting call mcconvillee playing up front next year , I remember him playing up front for liverpools academy upto under 16s(jimmy ryan played as well). He was a talent great but i think his size let him down.
On good authority was told he was the best finisher in training by far last year, could be one to watch if he matures and fills out a bit, would suggest playing him along side a big target man and he could blossom like grant did this year
