What next for JC?
Genuinely sorry for you guys about the lack of promotion. We know how it feels to be so close but so far away. Only consultation for us is that it means the loss of another trip down South.
But what next for JC?
Understandably sounds down but knowing him he'll be back to his usual self come pre season. Question is though will it be with Stanley?
Already the rumour factory reckons that Bolton Wanderers, Northampton and even Blackpool are looking in his direction.
The Cobblers fans on their forum are quite keen on him taking over.
Interesting time for both our clubs in the month ahead.

would be surprised if he left us after getting his fingers burned at Rochdale but you never know in football. of the clubs you mentioned Bolton would be a poisoned chalice and blackpool or f.c. oyston to give them their real name the words you don,t have to be mad to work here but it helps come into mind. good job for westley.

Re: What next for JC?
Northampton have just appointed Rob Page as manager on a three-year deal.

Re: What next for JC?
Can't see him leaving.
After his track record away from us I think it's a case of he fits the club and the club fits him.
Especially with Holt's investment I can't see him leaving.

Re: What next for JC?
Yep, I'd agree with Sam too - why leave when there's still a job to be done

Re: What next for JC?
Agreed with others, would be staggered to see him go, in what is the most exciting period for our club in the last 10 + years.

Re: What next for JC?
JC was mentioned on Radio Sheffield to Les Payne the veteran Rotherham Correspondent for the Sheffield Star. His response was that some people seemed only to enjoy success at a particular club.

Re: What next for JC?
Managed to get through to a Manchester Football radio talkshow(alex Stepney & Paul Lake, and gary Owen of city fame) the other day..On and on and on and on about Pep Guardiola and Mourhino..and managed to get aired that Coleman as good a manager in what he'd achieved....The comment made by these pros was that many managers suceed cos they are a perfect fit and Coley and Accrington were made for loving each other..I agree,Hope he stays

Re: What next for JC?
Coleman is on the shortlist for the Port Vale job if you believe the rumours.
Jimmy Bell is also thought of highly at Port Vale after spending time as the U21 manager, and they would want the 2 of them.
As Port Vale are skint and cutting their playing budget (the main reason it seems Rob Page left), I dont think its an attractive proposition despite being in league 1.
They look certain to struggle against relegation whoever the manager is next season.

Re: What next for JC?
The two things there's no shortage of for football managers in Leagues 1 & 2 are frying pans and fires.
