Re: what questions were asked at forum???
As I said, we only heard John Coleman's side of the story & Rory shouldn't be judged on that without having a chance to reply to what was said.

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
You mean in case he made up a complete set of lies about his best winger and told them to the chairman, assistant manager, coach, supportersc lub and a public meeting ?
I would be surprised

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
He also said the lads played better after Rory went off on Tuesday, I wish I'd watched the game from where he was. And that little gem about the rest of the team not talking to Rory, not what Paul Mullen said in his column in last nights LET.

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
Well given the three choices...
1) What I read in the paper
2) What I read on a messageboard
3) What Coleman says in a public forum in front of his chairman and fans
It isn't a hard choice for me... I am NOT saying its the right choice... But it's an easy one to make

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
....if ur a sheep
remember kipax, there's A LOT of 'propaganda' in football these days put out by football managers at events such as the fans forum and in local papers to disguise what is really going on at the club, to make the fans see a particular angle of the club/individual

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
in a word......no
it seems mr coleman and co went into the forum completely on the defensive, knowing that they were in for some flack, and we all know the best form of defense is attack, hence his public attack on Rory, for example giving the bull**** comment with regards to the Celtic game; "The lads performance went up after Rory came off and the substitution in no way dented the team spirit"
(I haven't got the actual quote, its something along those lines)

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
Anyone can be made to look bad if you grab half a sentence here and there..
Fair enough if you want to come on here calling the accrington stanley manager and staff and chairman all liars... thats up to you.. But I had hoped you had something to back it up rather than haf a sentance that you cant even remember ...
Each to his own I guess.

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
The reason i dont remember the full quote, is because i couldnt attend the forum due to ill health; and i would have thought that you would have been intelligent enough not to fully believe everything people say, just because they are the manager/chairman of the football club you support, and the reason i doubt Coley's answers so much is because i want a club where all the players and staff get along, even though it will never probably happen, to produce the best results for the club.
Getting back to the original subject concerning Rory, do you not remember Coley forcing players such as Gary Williams out of the club (who was also a fans favourite) for 'behind the scenes' reasons
ahem

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
Sorry Kipax, I can't aggree with you. I was there last night and all I saw was a preplanned closing of ranks against people who don't seem to be allowed to put their side of the case.

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
But you didn't.. you came in after the ten minute spell on Rory so your going by what someone has told you happened..The same goes for lyndsay.. you saw the rest but you didnt see the main part that pre empted it all.. Coley had a good ten minutes talking about nothing but rory.. All the poeple complaing about it didn't even see it ..
Anyway I am not suggested I am right or that anyone should agree wiht me
I have pointed out that all I have to go on is newspapers, messageboard and straight from coleys mouth... Thats my choices....
If I speak to Rory then I may change my mind... but right now I havent had that pleasure.. you and Lyndsay have
Perhaps the supporters club could organise a players forum.... that would be fun

Re: what questions were asked at forum???
One thing we do all agree on.. Rory is the best winger in the league and the club will be far worse off without him.. I dont think anyone can deny that..... But if we all agreed on everyhting then it would be a boring life eh mate
PS Adam.... Thats how Adults handle a debate ............
