Re: Where did it all go wrong today?

Alice, I suggest you read my post again. I only said I spoke to him after the match-not that he was a mate. Further quoted it was the second subbing in four days where he made mistakes & certainly lost us the game at Burton. As one nameless player said to me today" he came on & took a free kick straight away straight to the opposition". I dont doubt he can inspire & pass on some good skills as a coach but on the park is showing his age.
Maybe if more of the fans took the time to stop after & talk to the players than rant between themselves we would get more action on the park. Further to this support the lads on the field vocaly along with the Ultras. You dont need to be behind the goal anywhere in the ground will do. How many times have Coley & Eric said this really lifts the lads & shows our support. The lads know when they have performed badly as Monday, but they also need to be supported for their winning performances too. Fair weather supporters do no football club any good-look at Blackburn!!!! (By Big Al/using Keyco's site)

Big Al

I'm sure many people, like me, would be only too glad to talk to the players after the game but they would have to come into the bar for us to do that. Last season no problem, this season different story! (with the exception of a few, Smithy, Paul Haworth, Rory).

As for getting behind the team why do you assume that, because someone criticises the actions of one of the players, therefore they do not get behind Stanley 100% and are somehow a "fairweather fan". I have supported Stanley for a long time, through thick and thin and don't question someone's faith just because they have a different opinion to me.

It's a sad day when we have to prove our "fan" credentials in order to be entitled to a point of view.

PS I did read your post and somehow got the impression you also thought it was time for Cook to stay off the pitch????
