Where will you finish?

Stanley fans,

Done a Q&A with supporter Sarah Knight ahead of the new season - Accrington Stanley Season Preview: Kee?s contribution | The Football Lab

Would be interested to know where you think you'll finish? Personally, I think it'll be tough to replace some of the key players but suggestions you'll go down are premature. Kept Billy Kee, plus some decent defenders and could argue Aaron Chapman is an upgrade on Etheridge. 9th for me - your views?

Re: Where will you finish?

lost many of our best players but our supremo has held onto McConville to rebuild his team around, we therefore walk into the unknown, all fingers crossed at this stage

Re: Where will you finish?

not as confident as twelve months ago but anything can happen in div.2. plus there,s injuries, suspensions plus when you actually play a side comes into it. top ten finish for me.

Re: Where will you finish?

Way too early to predict anything - we haven't even seen our first team play together against league opposition yet, no disrespect to the non league teams we've played but it's hard to judge from those games.
As for the suggestions that we'll struggle & possible go down, we're used to that - it's a foregone conclusion that we're the bookies favourites for relegation most seasons- we don't take any notice of that
Would hope for a top half finish but at this stage it's anybody's guess - even if we'd kept hold of the players who have gone to pastures new

Oooooo, you'll be in trouble if Dean reads that - unless he's our secret agent for the coming season

a decent cup run is a must if we want to improve gates and interest. too many seasons come november we have only the league to concentrate on. ok for regulars but games against crawley and wycome wanderers will not get that interest going for new fans.

Re: Where will you finish?

Can't see you going down at all - think top half is a fair prediction. Could be a big season for Shay McCartan with Windass gone.
