I could think of half a dozen who should leave in the January window, but rather than who is on there way out downwards, who is on their way out upwards?
Rommy Boco - if he has a good African Nations then that may alert one or two who realise he is out of favour here. Fortunately/Unfortunately the African cup is late on in January so it may be too late on for anybody to make a considered bid for him.
Jay Harris - Must of caught the eye of at least a handful of managers in this league as he has certainly got 100% determination backed up by a good bit of still improving skill.
Ian Craney - Not really ours to 'lose' but can we compete with Peterborough? Should we try to compete with Peterborough?
Paul Mullin - still admired by Chester and Shrewsbury at the very least. Coleman has always said that he is a player that would be coveted by most in this league at least. Could be the big mans last chance anywhere else. Or would he prefer to stick out the rest of his career here and be granted the much deserved testimonial?
Roscoe Dsane - a little bit hit and miss for Roscoe due to a couple of knocks preventing him really getting games under his belt. But in most of the games he has played he has proved that he has what it takes at this level. A tricky customer for most defenders and would do well in a team that give him plenty of service.
Andy Proctor - player of the month for September would have him on a few 'to watch' lists. Has he done enough to catch the eye in following months?
I can't really see anybody higher watching our defenders due to the goals shipped column doing them more of a disservice than some of them warrant.
As Chairman of the club what kind of money would it take to make you part with a couple of these lads? Do we take the money (and god knows we need it) or do we learn the lessons of last year and try not to brak the team up? Who'd be a Chairman at this time of year .....
