Re: Why oh why?

Watched the highlights I know its not like being there but I dont see much wrong with the way Accy are playing, they had plenty of High pressure when on attack and controlled the midfield, the goal looked offside but some you get some you dont, why would you want to play 4 4 2 on an away fixture at this time of year?, JC was spot on playing with a stopper and center mid and if Forest Green hadnt played with an 11 man defence and had the rub of the green, no pun intended, Accy probably would have had at least 6 as for beating the bottom clubs how did West Brom beat Bolton, how come teams like Arsenal or Huddersfield get kocked out of the cup by non league teams if we could answer that we would probably own Chelsea.

Re: Why oh why?

Bloody mad as hell at the final whistle but we should have won 6-1.....

They had ONE chance & the BEST keeper I've seen this season. Isn't it sad though that after every defeat the old WHINGERS come on this forum to air their ill informed miserable views

GET A FRIGGIN GRIP!

Not wanting to offend, but..

I hear comments/summaries like this for every other game, and no don't I'll hear them all again this season....unlucky, should have scored six, keeper outstanding, grass was too green etc etc etc.........IMO we have lost the plot, and I don't believe that we shall finish as high as last season. My expectations, of promotion via the playoffs, at the start of the season were probably blind faith......I hope it's possible, but I'm losing patience with tactics, players coming and going and at times half hearted performances.

I commend you on your faith, but I'm losing mine by the week!

Re: Why oh why?

Well by the way you have been complaining I would of thought going to 50% of the away games you would see what Jason and others are saying....

We just don't have the luck on our side, if he you have been to these games away you know we have played brilliantly in some and the result has unfortunately gone against us.

Not keeping the faith, well you have to find a way that you can keep the faith. It's not just you dissapointed, we all are but your reaction is vital. You can go home from the match and moan and be down or you can forget that game and concentrate on the next. The players and staff were obviously dissapointed with the result but Coley and crew will jig the lads up in training and get their team spirit back up.

This will show on Tuesday night when we stuff Carlisle.....

So Redskin and others KEEP THE FAITH!

Wink Re: Why oh why?

I hope you are correct! We will probably play to our strenghts, as we usually do at home. The better sides also have a positive influence on our style of play, but we must take our chances and remain tight in the middle and at the back for the full 90!

4-4-2...

Re: Why oh why?

Hitting the post, hitting the crossbar, goalkeeper making excellent saves - this is not bad luck it is bad finishing. It is the goalkeeper's job to make excellent saves, it is our striker's job to beat him, not with good luck but with good finishing. I think we should have won 6-0 on Saturday and we would have if we had better finishing - not if we had a bit of luck. Their goal came from one of our weaknesses, far post crosses. How many goals have we conceded from far post crosses in the past few seasons ?
