Will the Team get a Civic Reception?

:engsmil::engsmil::engsmil::engsmil::engsmil:

I think that now the team have confirmed promotion to the Football League, are the Council (who lets face it get loads of publicity from the club) going to hold a Civic Reception for the management and players of Accrington Stanley?
Maybe even an open topped bus around town to display the trophy after it has been presented next weekend. If I lived in Accrington, I would certainly be asking my local councillor.

Re: Will the Team get a Civic Reception?

It said in the Observer it's next weekend (Sunday?)

Open top bus, tour of the town, reception at the Town Hall, then up to the Interlink, where the gates will be open for the fans to greet the team.

next Sunday is the 23rd like I said, so why have you put sunday with a question mark?

Er....no, it's the only subtle thing I have to offer.

I can sell you special tinted glasses that make reading it easier.

Not me.

I was being sarcastic as well as still being half asleep.

Multitasker me.

Lets get back on thread, plus you're begining to frighten me.

Plus I don't loose arguments, ask Kipax.

Yes, the civic reception is on Sunday, tea and buns with Britcliffe and the big nobs in the Town Hall.

Yes, but like I say I don't lose.

Not really the time or place for bickering though is it?

Re: Will the Team get a Civic Reception?

Thanks Oggy, now I know what it says,
I only asked a simple question in the first place which only required a simple answer, to say Garinda never loses an argument Garinda likes making them.
