Well back in 2009 I think it certainly happened to one Michael Symes who up to Xmas was banging goals in for fun reported interest from Grimsby if my memory is correct certainly turned his head.

Re: Window
It’s called human nature.
Players have their heads turned regularly.

Re: Window
So it’s OK if players can’t or even won’t work to the best of their ability when their ‘heads are turned’ by the prospect of another employee?
If that’s the case with Finlay I’m just glad he’s not a surgeon or teacher.

Re: Window
May be one for the future Connor Gaul 22 yr old Clitheroe fc striker his goal tally for the season is 15 and the division's joint leading scorer comes from Darwen.

Re: Window
Looking at the ‘first team’ photos on the Fishy site, of the NINE shown, it appears that only THREE forwards are genuine contenders for a starting place.
Is there any prospect of Baker-Richardson ever being fit this season?
Why hang on to Simpson if, as suggested on here, he won’t cut it?

Bishop, Charles and Zanzala regularly in squad.
The club has stated everything it can about Billy.
Andy Scott is out on loan at Curzon Ashton (featured a few times in first team squads and has made a few appearances in cup comps)
Alex O'Neill is out on loan at Runcorn
CBR - still having rehab in Swansea - unlikely to see him again
Connor Simpson - season long loan - from what I understand we cant end the loan only Preston can recall. 'MAYBE' Coleys thinking if he isn't good enough is don't involve him so hopefully Preston recall and send him elsewhere for gametime.
Niall Watson - more of a winger than a striker - I 'think' he is on loan at a club Liverpool way.
Enough info?

Yes, thanks Josh.
Just hoping for something more promising, particularly as regards Baker-Richardson. He did look to have a bit of the Kayden Jackson about him for the very brief time I saw him.

Well I hope the club is,t paying all of Simpsons wages or even a percentage of that is the train of thought of the management team has to be poor to be worse than Zanzala.s present form.
