Here we are, so close to the football league just 2 points standing in the way of our return to where we belong!
 On Saturday the 15 of April, 2006 at 3:00pm Accrington stanley will only be 90 minutes of football away from the promised land!:engsmil: At the start of the season i never thought i would be sat here writing this about stanley! but WHAT A SEASON!!!!! Next up for stanley is an away game at Woking, somewhere I have never really liked goin to, and this may be connected with the fact that we have never won at the Kingsfeild Stadium! But hopefully this will change on saturday, and We wil be crowned Champions of Non-League!!! So come on folks get booked onto the coaches! £20 to see a peice of football History! You CANNOT miss it. Good luck for today and as we couldnt win title it could not go to anyone better. It iwill be really good to see an Accrington Stanley side back in the football league. Alan Hardaker eat your heart out !.
I am partucularly pleased for those old Stanley fans who stood on the Peel Park terraces back in march 1962. "On Stanley On" or as we would say "Never say die" |
