Re: wonder how long before
.....that should be now. The petition is dismissed, so presumably we should be able to move assets (players) in and out.

Re: wonder how long before
Not a clue about the first one and yeh cover is needed, craig linfield last i saw was in the away end at rochdale, and played against the american side in the friendly. Apparently sides like Carlisle were after him, he obviously wants to join us so hes probably still training...

Re: wonder how long before
i think the FL recently introduced (over the summer) a rule regarding tax debts and if you are more than 3 months behind in your payments then you are under an embargo. As we still have last years to shift (due end of November I believe) i would imagine that the embargo will remain.
Could be wrong though

Re: wonder how long before
... and I dont think we should sign Linfield!!!
Grant, Symes, Miles and King are ours and Kee is still with us. No need for him. But I think Ross Lloyd is still training with us and cover is needed at right back especially as Lees may well go back to Leeds in January. And I liked the look of Melo against Blackburn and Burnley but then again do we need another midfielder?
goalkeeper is priority followed by full backs

Re: wonder how long before
I think Gary King is only on a six month contract, he is definately a decent player and one worth keeping, also think Billy Kee is only on a six month loan deal

Completely agree. The signing of Ross Lloyd is a must, in my opinion.

OK....I'll take your word. I know very little about League/FA rules...the stuff that was winging round in my head was European business legislation on restraint of trade.
Anyway, I'm well into my second bottle of one of Chile's finest, I'm not talking sense and I really shouldn't be on here now............

Re: wonder how long before
We still owe monies to the P.F.A. So embargo is still on. Not a bad thing really as Macca and others have said, no embargo and Lindfield would be on our books - do we need him? Answer no! We may need cover for Bavs, but at the moment we do not, if he broke his leg, then we would get an emergency loan in, but do not need loads of players sitting on the bench, we already have 3 that haven't kicked a ball for us for months.

Re: wonder how long before
as valairian says its all about monies owed to the P.F.A. which i can understand, what i don't understand is goalkeeping cover is essential n as martin was re-called, should be exeptions in those circumstances. IMHO.

Re: wonder how long before
As Ilyas has said, hopefully in the next few weeks ALL monies outstanding will be sorted out then the embargo can be lifted.
Agreed i dont think we need anymore upfront.
Grant and Symes work brilliantly together, and i think that Gary King is certainly worth a contract till the end of the season at least. He looks VERY sharp to me.
Unsure about Billy Kee, Leicester will probably have him back in Jan anyway.
100% FIRST priority is a goalkeeper!!!
Followed by at least 1 if not 2 full backs.
Its nice to actually be talking about FOOTBALL
