Re: Wow
i saw this, or summat similar, a while back. The thing I like about it is that they have made an effort even for the away fans. Colour themed walls according to who they are playing, art galleries relating to the opposition and train/bus timetables for getting back.
Most clubs give only the bare minimum to save costs ....

Re: Wow
New stadia like that don't really float my boat. The main reason I love Stanley is the ability to just pay on the gate, stand on a terrace and make some noise for the team. If the club moved and did away with standing the atmosphere would go overnight.

Well said, that man! I'll take our ramshackle collection of sheds and portakabins (as somebody called them) over a modern, soulless, plastic stadium anyday!

Re: Wow
Even if it means no progress?
Im sorry but as much as i loved the crown over the years, it falls way below what id class as football league standard.

Not saying I'm against the concept of a new stadium. But I don't want one of the slick, plastic, corporate all-seater variety. It's got to be professional without being artificial and it MUST have standing areas. It also needs to be near a few pubs!
