Re: Wycombe Thread

Just back from the game and the thing that struck me today was the mental strength of the team.Make no mistake they are a good team and despite a lot of possession,i cant recall the keeper having to make a save.
Examples of this are Jacobson was under great pressure for 40 minutes, then goes and scores and has a great second half-Edwards makes a terrible mistake then goes and scores-Gornell misses a couple of good chances but doesnt let his head drop and chases everything.
Just hope the off field problems can be resolved as Coleman has not let it filter into his team yet
ps sort the pitch out and watch this team play and rip teams to pieces.
The players at the end just shown what a great team spirit they have.

Re: Wycombe Thread

Well just got back, rather shattered after the journey.

Fantastic result, agreed Jacobsen had a nightmare 1st half, but was magnificent in the 2nd.

Gornell didnt stop, brilliant yet again.

Craney was absolute garbage, but to be honest im not that fussed, 3 points and a great win!

Bring on next week

Re: Wycombe Thread

Well done Coley, Jimmy and the boys. Could be rated as the best result of the season so far - after the disappointment of Tuesday at the Millers and so much bad weather and match disruption. Well done to the 50 fans who went like Daniel into the lions den. Let's hope the pitch is ok for Crewe on tuesday and we can reward the faithful fans at the Crown with another win, then we can look up the league a bit more instead of down. Keep the faith.
