Having said that, I think we were the only team going to score in what wasn't a great game. When Gray came on, he and Mingoia were really causing the Wycombe defence trouble with their pace and they didn't cause our defence any trouble at all. We need to get the ball down more though instead of all the head tennis stuff because that's when we dominated them. All in all a good point though.
Correct......My thoughts are he was on side as the cross was made, but was past the defender at the time of the deflection, and that's why he was given off-side,no one seems certain so it just shows how hard it is for officials at times.

A good result.

I would always take an away point before kick off.

Great to see we are looking hard to beat at this stage of the season, Scunthorpe next week is looking rather tasty to say the least.!

Wycombe never looked like they could beat us, Had 1 decent effort which Betts dealt wi brilliantly, was only ever going to be one winner as match went on, Still a better point fer us n them i reckon.

It's difficult to tell about the offside because Piero's out of the picture when the ball's kicked. But, if he's coming forward faster than the defender, then probably he wasn't offside.

Good save from Betts; it looked even better from the stand!

Knowing Mingoia's pace and the fact (copyright DAV007) that no defender would race towards the back post when he doesn't know that the ball is going to end up there, then I think a reasonable person would assume that he scored a goal that should've been allowed to stand.
Great pity as it would have been a good reward for his efforts and an even more memorable day for his family yesterday.

He was offside, was stood on line when it was played and looked to be off! Would of been great to see the goal ! The game was not very good tbh , both teams didn't want to concede and both teams couldn't really get towards the other teams goal! Solid in midfield and defence and a point is fair! Gray changed it with his change of pace against the pensioners at the back for wycombe!

Good following by the stanley faithful aswell without a coach going!
