Re: Yeovil Game
I just cannot understand the logic wi "Crooks" I believe he started life as a defender? then was moved to midfield? so how the hell is the lad a striker? Way i see it, this aint the lads fault? Carver may well be a young lad learning his trade, but still a much better option to me.

Re: Yeovil Game
Really should have won it today, they were awful and there for the taking.
Kal, Shay and especially the plank up front were very poor.
The tactical genius certainly makes some strange selections and substitutions, think he cost us today, last week and and Carlisle.

Re: Yeovil Game
Crooks is a defender then centre back ... For some reasons managers want him to be a striker which is not his speciality ... crooks is a team player who get his team mates to go forwards and scores ... remember he on loan gaining experiences to improve his skills ... He was injured last year for 4 months so need game time .... .. onwards and forwards Accrington S ... get in there

That's the whole point, though. We have good defenders and cover in all areas anyway, and do not need a loanee "improving his skills" out of position up front with no end product. Not his fault and good luck to the lad, but a very strange call by Coley and Jimmy to bring him in.

Re: Yeovil Game
Not the players fault if they are picked to play out of position however fans are quick to criticise on one failed attempt to score and not look at the whole play of the team ... how it gels together ...

That's all very well but can we afford to have someone in the starting line up every week who is learning at the team's expense? Agree with whoever said it's not the lad's fault, he's not picking himself for the team

That's just what I did say, Missastrike, it's not his fault to be played out of position. I don't want to nit pick, but he did miss not one, but 2 glaring one on one opportunities to score today, and has never looked remotely like hitting the back of the net in all 3 games I have watched him.

Re: Yeovil Game
Any bans on the way with all the yellow cards that were flashed today? Seem to recall Mr.Aldred was close to the limit.

What about the 6 easy chances last week most of our forwards would have walked off with the match ball.Strange selection today as was ill yesterday and never turned up for training and yet walks straight into the team.I feel sorry for Marcus not being selected because of loanees. So we throw away a FA Cup win to play a loanee and save a few quid.

Re: Yeovil Game
Dominating against a side who competed in the Championship last year and still in the hat. It really is a different club these days. See the rest of you brave band of intrepid explorers at Huish Park!!
