Yes you were lucky
We matched you in the first half and played you off the field for most of the second. Scored a fantastic goal that ripped your defence apart. As many Town fans there as Accy fans surely?
You didn't deserve anything from the game. We would have taken a point before the game but this definitely feels like two points dropped. We're still in a good position, just 2 points off you lot in second but we have 2 games in hand on you.
Don't think much of your ground I'm afraid and you had poor support, especially when you consider how many we brought over the Pennines on a cold, Tuesday night. The fact that most of your stadium is not covered kills the atmosphere, but it isn't exactly a decent stadium in all fairness. In fact, it was the size and overall quality inspired a song which seemed to amuse your goal keeper, sung to the tune of O when the saints:
My garden shed
Is bigger than this
My garden shed is bigger than this
It's got a bench and a shovel
My garden shed is bigger than this.
Haha. I though Burnley must have been playing because you had no fans there but it turns out you are all Arsenal supporters really. The song "**** ground, no fans" really means something when you play at the IES.
Stewards were crap also. They predicted less than 500 from Halifax. What? A local derby and playing for second place? And then, whilst we're all crammed into the crappy away end (well it's not even an end, just a few steps) they open the empty stand behind the goal to you lot?? WHAT? You had half the stadium empty to yourselves. Then at half time they take you lot out of there and let US in!! Crazy.
Overall, thought we showed you lot exactly what we're capable of, which we didn't do at The Shay. You were very mediocre yesterday, we were brilliant at times and our goal was top class.
No doubt you lot will be happy to have taken 4 points from us this season. No doubt we will get points when we don't deserve it before the season ends too.

Full marks for originality!!! Brilliant
As for your fans you had less than 500 so get off your high horse and you seem to forget that Stanley were in Unibond 1st not too long ago so IES is hardly going to be the Nou Camp.
Anyhow, at least the IES is completed. I'd hate to play at a building site every week.

Re: Yes you were lucky
If you did`nt spend half the match time-wasting, you might have got a second goal to kill the game off so it`s your tactics that were pants. SOOO glad you enjoyed your visit to the IES, do come again!!

We gained a point we didn't "deserve"? How embarassing. Perhaps we should give it back.

Re: Yes you were lucky
The thing that shocks me isnt the result or how each team played.......Its that someone from Yorkshire has a computer and can use it....What next sheep going to school?

Re: Yes you were lucky
If we are having a sing-song, Never_Shay_Die, try this one for size, (to the tune of The Adams Family):
Your sister is your mother, Your father is your brother. You like to shag each other, The yorkshire family!
