A clean sheet for Jason against his old club would be nice

Re: York City.
Was talking about York game at dinner time in market hall cafe & saying it would be a good idea to reduce the admission a bit for it - maybe someone connected with the powers that be was ear-wigging?
Seriously though, good move by the club - bring 'em on!

Both clubs have to agree, can't see Chelsea agreeing to it in the 3rd round

Re: York City.
good move as every little helps. I enjoy the fa cup and other cup competitions but I,m an old fart who remembers the good old days before these European leagues when everyone looked forward to the cup. I even remember when burnley were find for playing a weakened side before a fa cup game. times certainly have changed.

Re: York City.
The new owner has discussed this at the supporters club meeting. I do get the feeling he wants to do something to get people in the ground. watch the space

Re: York City.
I know a cup run can be a distraction but winning becomes a habit plus £18000 prize money plus home ties with good gates can be a good earner now being debt free no longer just lost in a pile of debt, a good money earning run could just push our club that much further here,s hoping we get 1600+ home fans on saturday to get behind the lads and get a positive result.

Re: York City.
HopeTom and Liam have a good week in training, with dean suspended, great opportunity to grab a shirt and put a performance in to make team selection difficult for Coley.

The home club set the price, the away club gets no say, and that has been the case for a while now in the FA Cup.
"Competition Proper
Immediately after the draw is known, the Club playing at home shall decide on the prices of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than concessions."
I was normally the smaller club wanting higher prices that caused disputes over ticket prices. Stanley could charge £10 at home v Chelsea in the FACC as a reward to the fans, but it would never happen.

You're probably right, they'd end up asking for 15 quid a head.

Re: York City.
I think the minimum price goes up to £15 from the third round onwards.
