Re: York City Thread.

well mate when i booked it yonks ago, i reckoned that i would be home if we attained a play-off spot, which by any stretch is magnificent imho, now thats certain, but an automatic is within our own grasp, i'm gonna be sick as a parrot i missed those last 2 matches, i woulda loved to be yon if we did create history.

just got back home ossy and found out we,ve got carl boyeson reffing the game tomorrow. seen him before and a couple of weeks ago at Morecambe. if he,s like he was then he was top notch and we can,t complain but we are Stanley and anything can happen.

Re: York City Thread.

Myself and 'Daughter of Choirboy' have to go to a wedding in Ilkley on the day of the final match of the season....
The wedding is at 1pm....
Then we are driving back for the 'Final Match' .....
Then driving back to Ilkley for the "DO".
Which we hope will be a 'Double' celebratation!!

Re: York City Thread.

Just brilliant from Stanley, again.
Results mean Wycombe playing only for pride and next season's contracts.
Only issue in League 2 now is which two out of Stanley, Oxford, or Brizzle Rovers go up automatically.
Amazing season.

Re: York City Thread.

with Oxford facing a tricky trip to Carlisle next Sat., I'm getting excited already about our trip to Wycombe - and the WHAM should be heaving for the visit of Stevenage - glad I've got my tickets already.
