Your vote for player of the year so far??
Id have to say Elliott or Roberts.
Following on from the goalkeeping turmoil of last season, i think coleman has performed a masterstroke getting Elliott this season, only hope he might stay for next season.
As for Roberts well what can you say?? IMO the best player in the Conference this season.

Paul Mullin or Robbie Elliot for me, both fantastically consistent

Got agree every report has those 2 as outstanding, but Elliot seems to have saved us in the dying minutes so many times.

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
Williams and Mullin have yet again proved their brilliant professionalism this season and have been our most consistent players, Rocky perhaps going unsung.
But my vote would go to Leam Richardson; a brilliant signing and the most solid and versatile full back we've had on the left side since the days of Steve Hollis; I think our defence has been our greatest asset this season and Leam is a cornerstone of our unbreakable back-four.

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
Only one player in it this year for me.. He has turned defeats into draws and draws into wins by making outstanding saves in every match.. his kicking can be off every game or so but his saves are always magnificent and make the real difference... Elliot by a country mile..
Its a bit early for player of the season even if it is "so far" .. the real player of the season for accy web will be held nearer to the end and have the same format as the last few years

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
This is a tough one for me, i'm torn between two. Those two being Craney and Roberts... It's gonna have to be ROBERTS for me, the way he has adapted to the conference, coming in from a nowhere league and the impact he has made in his presence and goals is the reason he gets the thumbs up from me.

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
Has to be Robbie Elliot, he has easily won us 13 points this season with his saves so without him i dont know where we woudl be, He makes at least one save which keeps us from conceding in every game some games that we have only won by one goal!
Thought Randolph was good but Robbie just pips him! But got to say we owe a great deal of our form to Charlton Althletic
Great loan deal Coley for this year, Would be one of Stanleys greatest signings if we could get him for another year!

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
Bummer hard one ....I'd say most importantly the back bone of the team is Elliot {GK** although Mullin & Roberts have been fantastic for us goal scoring also Mangan for creating some great opportunities & support to fellow team mates

I have to agree, Rob Elliott’s contribution as been exceptional. Whatever the final outcome, every member of the team as made a contribution to our success this season and ultimately all of them are winners.
Mr Elliott for me.

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
I thought Randolph 'the red loan reigned here' desersve some credit for giving us the foundations of where we are now... but, his mate has surely made the difference from us being 10th again, & where we are now.... so my vote is, obviously with Robb.
(Can't believe I still can't spell 'deserve'!!!)

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
I know I havent been to any games this season but the sheer amount of clean sheets we have had this season and all the reports about the guy after every game he gets mentioned as having a stormer makes Robbie Elliott my vote too (so far)... What a signing Coley! Wasnt Andy Dibble a big factor for getting 'in' with Charlton?

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
Got to agree with the majority here. Robbie Elliot and Darren Randolph before him. If it wasn't for these two gentlemen, I honestly believe we would not be in the position we are now. OK, we have a line-up of highly talented strikers who, between them, have scored 64 league goals but Grays have scored the same amount and they're 7th with 53 points. That could be us if our team had not been graced by these two highly talented shotstoppers.

Nice one Wynonie, I actually had the temerity to put these two on a Charlton poll for their five best players of the season.
However, rather than go for the Usual Suspects, my vote would go to Phil Edwards. Quiet, versatile, consistent and improving all the time.
The team is the thing though, Coley seems to know what he's doing.

Re: Your vote for player of the year so far??
Alan Curbishley for allowing both Darren Randolph and Robbie Elliott to come to Stanley - Curbishley for England - but for player of the year - I would give both keepers a share - it is only fair
