Re: Youth Cup 21/22
A good win for the young boys in Red in the end.
Cruising at 3-0 after 50 minutes but then some of the Stanley lads started behaving like Father Christmas managing to gift three goals to Wigan. Must be something to do with them wearing all red outfits!
Finally took the win with a fine goal ten minutes from the end of extra time.
For me the pick of the players was midfielder Number 18, I think he is called Emerich Poilly. I thought that he was very strong on the ball, always in the right position, showed good skills under pressure and his passing and close interplay was super! One to watch in the future I reckon.
Well done Young Reds!

Re: Youth Cup 21/22
was a damn good game i thought, was talking to a steward before k.o and he told me it was the hardest team in the draw, thought our 3rd goal was a cracker, our number 10 scored the first 2, at 3 -0 i thought we were cruising, but wigan got the penalty and that seemed to fire them up, they scored 2 more before the 90 mins was up, then into extra time, then near the end we scored another, the lads never gave up which suited me down to the ground, i thought quite a few of the lads played really well? i sat in the new stand first half then i could see who scored, at half time i moved back to the clayton end as we were hitting that way lol

Re: Youth Cup 21/22
Round 2 - Stanley Youth v Bolton Wanderers Youth tomorrow night, Tuesday at 7pm at The Wham. I will be going for sure. Based on the Round 1 victory against Wigan Youth, which was an excellent performance by our youngsters, it should be another good match and a chance for supporters to get behind the young lads in red!
COME ON RED YOUF!

How can you manage that? One team is a group of young up & coming footballing legends in the making, the others are the England squad!
