antivirus

Please can someone give me a link so I can download the free edition of avg? I used one and got sent to cnet download.com and I got a damn virus. im really pulling my hair out here im sure i never had this prob before.. :(:mad:

Few weeks back had a few probs with my pc so ran spybot and it came up with alsorts of stuff inc malware called win32 .agent.pz which i managed to clear . however just done another check and this win32 thingy is still lingering , how / can i get rid of it .? Is it serious and what does it do...

DOnt want to preach but does everyone on accyweb have their anti virus programmes up-to-date working & in use, if not u can get some good free anti virus programmes for free - like AVG, u will be surprised how many people use the net without antivirus & firewalls, for the safety of your own...

I've currently got Norton installed on my office pc & have finally been given permission to change it for some form of decent security. Which is the best to use? :confused:
