  • Hi. So sorry for delay. Gosh, my heart nearly stopped but afraid that isn't my mum. There is a similarity and spent hours looking at it. Was such a long time ago but am sure it isn't her. My sister's agree. So close! Sorry to disappoint you. Really good pictures though. Thanks so much for all your efforts.

I know something will turn up though. Come such a long way since you first responded to my message.

Have a good evening and thanks again.
    Hey Hey How are you?

Atarah I hope 2014 finds you well, we corresponded a little on Louis Brown of ice cream fame in Accrington; he was my great grandfather and without wishing to be a nuisance to you I wondered in any more information popped up about him?
I worked there straight from school in 1965 as an apprentice.Frank Griggs, my boss was Tony . I can't remember his surname .You were in the office as I recall
Hi June, Take a look at Lankybeat under bands, a few photos of the Cyclons there Mick should be happy with those, tell him I'll write soon, regards Al.
looking for some info on clayton from ~ 1900, some streets that are appearing on records seem to no longer exist, any help gratefully accepted. Beverley road and Petre street... any idea where they would be? and why I can't find them?
I do know the owner Mr Bhatti and he is ssuch a nice man and I do not have the guts to tell him that he must save it. I do not want to fall out with him and i do nt want to get him into trouble by reporting him to the council. I have been stood outside of the con club for the past few weeks asking members of the public to fill out a survey I have made which asks for their opinions on what they think should happen to the club.I amgoing to continue doing the surveys for a while and then hopefully pass them onto the owner.
Hi June, Can you assist me in my Quest? Kind regards, Alan.
HELP! To enable me to complete a magazine article I am writing featuring one of Accrington's most famous engineering firms-JOHN BLAKE, makers of HYDRAMS, I am seeking either a photograph of Blake's Oxford Street Engineering Works, or a map dated circa-1870 to 1900 of Oxford Street.
Any assistance will be credited in my article.

    HAPPY STEAMINGS!

    Alan.

Hia, the dimensions of the unit are 19 x 10 Metres, it has a seperate washroom with toilet and basin measuring 2.5 x 2 Metres. Access is from a large roller shutter door to the front and a UPVC door to the rear.

Just found out there are restrictions on its use though. You can email [email protected] if you want any pictures or anything.
