  • Hi little sis, how are you? Getting any nearer to moving. I wish I was there to help you. Not long now before I am there, the leg is a bit of a hindrance at present, but will be there with bells on. Only 2 months now roll on.
    Love big sis. xxxxxx
Reading about Bernadette and her troubles, I for one know how you feel Etc. Let me explain,

5 years ago (wow how time flies,-----I wish) It was November the 4th 2002 I think, Feeling a little under the weather I came home from work early.
Doctor was called followed very close behind by an ambulance, Admitted to hospital having had a stroke then contacted pneumonia then double pneumonia, then on the 14th November suffered a second stroke, there followed a period in hospital where I began a recuperation period finding out my speech had gone, I was deaf in my right ear, all my right side was paralyzed and left me unable to walk, following this period in hospital that actually lasted for 16 weeks I was released with the use of a wheelchair.I left hospital on Valentines day 2003
All this time later I can only walk aided, by a stick for short periods and if needed to go more than a few yards require the use of a chair. No chance of a full recovery, but I have heard of miracles happening only recently to someone who was far worse than me to make a full recovery in a matter of days.I live in hopes but thank god I am alive to tell the story, lots are not.
