I like the guy, but I feel he is not up to it, as he has not been fit!!!

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Beggars can't be choosers & right now he's the only striker we've got, I'd love to think Craig can step up to the mark this season but like others, have my doubts - wouldn't mind him proving me wrong though, & at least he's willing to stay & give it a go

Agree with everybody's comments re: craig and peter.

Here's hoping they prove me and everybody else wrong.

come on lads, your all being negative again!!,the only difference between Craig and Gornell is about a stone in weight .
Technique,pace,workrate-nothing between them, finishing and heading, again nothing between them,Craig just needs to bulk up and be a bit more aggressive.
He has ability, just needs a good start, bit of confidence, few goals---- like sean mac did last year
ps- i am sure he wont go hiding even if things arent goin his way:)

It's getting boring agreeing with all your posts,19, but yet again I do think as you do on this. Give the man a decent chance to show what he can do as a front man and he could come good and grab his opportunity.:)

Well you must have watched a different game to me last season im afraid.

Every time I saw Craig play, he looked massively slow and off the pace. Boulding looked a far better player. Obviously the knee injury pre-season didnt help his cause, coupled the fact we only played 1 front man in Gornell, he was always going to struggle to get games.

However you dont spend time at Liverpool for nothing, and ill never forget the goal he scored for Notts County at the Crown against us a couple of years back.

Here is hoping for a different Craig this season.

Redraine,as i have stated before, there are some very knowledgeable football people on this forum (and cashy!!),but sometimes, because of there love for Acci, put there negative heads on,and hammer some players without substantation.
Its alright saying a player is "crap",but crap at what?,shooting, heading, passing?,
The game is split into three areas 1)when you have the ball.2)when the opposition have the ball.3)when your challenging for the ball.
Some players excell in different areas,if you excell in all areas ,you should be playing at an higher level!!.
On average, you will be lucky if any one player has the ball for a minute during the whole game!
Come on lads lets give the players a bit of respect, they are all trying to improve there game season on season----up the Acci!!!!

so its negative to give n honest opinion? if it don't tally wi yours Football19? well i bow to yer superior one.

One thing i cant deny Cashy,is your honesty!,and your opinions are brutal at times, and straight to the point !!! :)

Remember him more from Macc than Shrewsbury but again a versatile player and one that will bring plenty of League experience to the squad.

In a daft sense I am more excited about the shaping of the squad this season than I have been for the past few, I suppose more because it is a bigger rebuilding job but it's a chance to push on once again with I think what will be a good balance of pros and young hungry players pushing through.

I am also looking forward more, in the main cos i regard this season coming as a fresh start! hopefully the wider public will think so too.

You have summed up exactly the way I feel.

Nearest to this was a couple of years ago. Turned up for the friendly at Halifax not really knowing what to expect or who would make it to get a deal.
