This is my 700th episode.
I know I haven't blogged as regularly recently.....I think that there is a limit to the mundanity(is there such a word?) that the readers of this blog can stand.
It has also been a busy three years........I can't believe we are almost at the end of the cycle of study for my daughter....though recently she has mentioned a Masters Degree....but not in the way that she is intending to do one...well not yet anyway.
And if she did, I think the impact on my life and hers would be different......the tinlids are older and becoming more independent and self reliant.....so I reckon that I would be needed much less for that course of study.(go for it when you have had a bit of a break)
Nicola has worked very hard to achieve her ambition and I feel that I have contributed a little bit to that.....looking out for the tinlids, sometimes giving her a different perspective on the work she has been doing......lending an ear when things have been tough...lending my books and my experiences in my working life may have helped too, but the main work has been hers.
I know you haven't graduated yet Nicola, but I know you will, and I just want to say that you deserve your degree, and I hope that you develop a very busy practice......and I'm not too old to be your receptionist
