It's been a relatively uneventful week this week. Sparks is home and we managed to get out for a curry on Wednesday evening. I have been working for the last 7 days and am off this weekend, so I'm really looking forward to it.
I forwarded my dissertation intro to J, he has sent it back with a few suggestions for changes. I knew that it would change and was planning to do all that at the end, when I'm a bit clearer about what I'm researching. The whole topic is so interesting that I keep finding things that I want to add, but I don't think I'll have enough wordspace to look at everything in depth. I'm going to have to seriously find an area to focus on and just concentrate on that.
Went to my step-gran's funeral before work yesterday, she was a real character and will be missed by the family. The rest of the day just went by in a haze, I probably shouldn't have gone to work after the funeral, but compassion is running low at the workhouse at the moment.
Had the pleasure of escorting several local schoolgirls around the unit on Wednesday. The were doing a childcare lesson and had to look at care in pregnancy. They left with loads of leaflets and information, I made sure that they had chlamydia leaflets and other info on STI's. Some of these lasses may get pregnant, but I'll be damned if they're getting the clap....
