Accrington Asda is closed cos tills aint workin' - THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS BTW!!!!!!

Just thought I'd save peeps the trouble of making the journey there.....like Gail has!!!! :D
 
Eeew hek, do we believe him ?... LOL. Hope wedding nerves aren't getting the better of him. :D
 
Our roving reporter Mick has dashed down to Asda to review the situation and is now able to confirm that the panic is over, they are more than happy to remove cash once more from your overstrained bank accounts.
 
i was turned away about 1 hour ago, wondered what the queue back to the traffic lights was fer.:( was a guy just past the garage telling all the cars it was shut, if the pigging thing was still under construction they could have blocked entrance at the lights to save all the queue, but no they wanted to get people to fill up, as the pumps etc were still working.:(

They opened the tills again at 11-10am today i got there at 11am
there was a problem with the tills but you could go into the cafe and have a free brew tea or coffee if you wanted to wait
as i was ready for a brew i had a tea and just as i was finishing it they announced the till where open again but for cash only they could not take debit/credit cards.
so then there was such a rush to the cash machines hehe
 
My carer was here yesterday when she got a text saying it was closed. I told her it was an April Fools joke ... whoops.
