Sadley its cheaper the better as far as the councils concerned.

Yet I bet they have one hell of a Christmas shindig for themselves though.

Yes save the money from all the big trees stuff council and spend it all on stanley:D which they dont ! They are all scruges!

Yeh saw the miserable scrawny looking thing with a few lights thrown on looks like the council officials are having a good bash this year :(

ime pretty sure when i was a lad we used to get a tree so huge it was delivered on a flat bed lorry

and i want our bloody nativity display back , although not at all religeious it is one of those things that the town center just dosnt look right without at xmas

Why dont you start an accyweb petition chav?

We want our nativity scene back.

By the way where is it? Is it hiding in the back of some council compound somewhere? Whos going to find it and bring it out of hiding?

It is probably the most feeble thing I have ever laid eyes on.

and i want our bloody nativity display back ,

I agree. Seeing as we have the reporters from the newspapers lurking and reading the site, maybe you could start an eye catching thread for them to go and investigate where the council have hidden it chav. ;)

Maybe it's been sold to pay for that poor excuse of a Christmas tree.

They've probably decided not to put up the nativity so as not to offend other faiths, but were too afraid to actually say so, to avoid the uproar and bad press it would have got.

Pathetic.

I seem to remember that Christmas used to be a Christian celebration about the birth of Jesus.

didnt somone say it was sold or was that a joke

serioulsy i would put nothing past our council

That must be the saddest/sorry looking tree I have ever seen.

It's awful, but it doesn't help it any having those railings around the bottom.
