I have finished my 7 nights. As I was walking out of work this morning I felt like running, whooping down the car park. I now have 7 nights off so I should get some quality dissertation time hopefully. The only thing is that next wednesday I have agreed to go into work and teach on one of the mandatory study days. I should get my time back for it with any luck.
I still need to identify a time when I can get to GUM clinic and do the HIV clinic, I think it will be helpful to my dissertation. I will see how far I have come with it by monday and happen ring them up to see if I can go on tuesday. There is also a meeting on tuesday afternoon at work which I really should attend.
I can see my time off this week being whittled away by work stuff. They have this habit of eating into your free time. It's like they begrudge you having any.
For tonight though, I am going to get dressed shortly. I do realise that it is currently almost 4pm on a lovely sunny day and I am not yet dressed but I really haven't been up long. I will wander up to the polling station and cast or spoil my vote depending on what mood I'm in when I get there. I feel like having a laugh tonight, so I may pay a visit to my niece Ellie who always makes me smile. Then I'm going to put my feet up and watch the 2 episodes of the new Lost, which I taped on tuesday. The TV watching may be accompanied by a large glass of red wine..
