Has anyone bought any Asda's own brand fizzy orange this week??

We bought some yesterday. Now I had a swig of it yesterday while taking a tablet. It tasted bloody awful. It has a very very PLASTIC taste.
Now yesterday, I thought it might have been the tablet that tasted bad.

I have just had another drink and it's really bad. I threw the bottle of pop away and opened another, that tastes just as bad. It smells bad and it tastes like plastic. Also very pale in colour.

It's all going back tomorrow.... I'm bloody sick to death of asda crap now. Usually, i just throw these things and think " oh well, it didn't cost that much" but add all the items that are " crap" and it amounts up :mad::mad:

thats why it tasted crap !!! -----------YOU WERE SOBER.:D

Well its all going back tomoz.

What ever I spend, no matter how much I pay....the goods should be fit for human consumption and this IS NOT.

I just can't believe how awful it tastes. I have just had my niece taste it and she says it's plastic.

Asda were supposed to be making all their own brand foods and soft drinks free from artificial colours and E numbers by the end of 2007. A bloke from the Asda was on telly just before Christmas saying that things like peas would not be as green as the customers might expect, yellow in fact ! Changes in taste were to be minimal….Maybe you have one of the first batches of Orange slinky.

Asda & Marks & Spencer stops Aspartame in food.

That would explain the very pale colour.... jesus if their food and drink is all gonna taste like this crap, then they are in BIG trouble

i usally buy the lemonade, kids had some today (bought it today), and they havent complained

OH why didn't you get orange?? I really want someone to taste how awful this is!!

That c**p your buying is made in Nelson (or it used to be) at a place called macaws, they've been taken over now by Cotts, I used to deliver the stuff to Asda, Tesco etc and could have had gallons of the stuff, only tried it once - never again
One of our drivers blew an head gasket on the wagon going up windy hill on his way to Asda's distribution depot at Leeds, it was loosing water fast, the lemonade got him back to our garage though :D

Right guys, listen I haven't killed any old ladies, I haven't mugged any pregnant women, I haven't murdered any puppies, the only thing I have done is buy a bottle of pop from ASDA..... Jesus.

You could have though if you had given the orange to the old ladies or the puppies  :D

mmm.....maybe asda deodrant goin same way ! i dont mind people working hard and getting up a sweat but why is it when i get stuck behind and asda shelf stacker they usually smell of body odour - no offence we all have our wiffy days ( well i am trying to be nice here :( )

but i was behind four different members of staff on saturday, all male, everyone of them stood infront of what i wanted and every time i had to go back later when they had finished.

i feel awful pointing it out but does anyone else notice it ?
