I finally managed to get the tree down last night. It looks really bare in here now. It's funny but every year when I drag the tree out I always think.........bloody hell, where am I going to put this thing. I get used to it being there and having less space, then it goes back to it's home under the stairs and lo and behold.......space again.
Spoke to Angie yesterday, she is after having her hen do in Amsterdam. I've never been there and am really looking forward to it, I will go round to the house and help her to book it on the internet. She's doing quite well with the computer. She's never so much as sat in front of one before and has never used a keyboard, but she is managing to surf around Accyweb and she's mastered private messages.
Sparks has arrived safely in France. We are still unclear as to how long he will be there for but we have both managed to get a few days off work in early March, so it looks like we can go ahead and book a holiday.
