Barrow, love them or hate them, lost at home tonight to Alfreton 1-2. This means that they can not catch Droylsden and they can't finish 2nd, so they can't be promoted to the Conference by default.

Means we get to play Farnborough or Leigh RMI next season or maybe both if Margate and/or Telford don't stay up
 
You spelt barrow wrong.... its.. "The mighty Barrow" lets not go upsetting the poor souls by getting there name wrong.
 
I may have to pop up there on a site visit , I could just do with a right good laugh

Just had a quick look in the dictionary, and here's one definition:-

" barrow - A large mound of earth or stones over the remains of the dead."

I bet that's just how they're feeling.
 
Well with Barrow making a :flasher8: of their promotion charge it means we get to play our rivals for the title of dirtiest team in the conference:hitting8: , FARNBOROUGH TOWN, again next season.

Ah well, always next year although we said that last year when you won it.

Hume was bound to score (and get booked) but their winner was with about 20 seconds left, a draw going into todays game would have kept the hopes alive just but it wasn't to be. We haven't done too badly though considering the money other teams can throw around on players.

Good luck to you for next season-I hear Mullin and James might be going though? Any chance of them coming to.......................................................
