Bits & Bobs

EFL issuing fresh COVID advice to clubs and supporters this coming week one suggestion being clubs should group players together on coaches depending on vaccination status or past infection, and another goalkeeper,s should train separately to avoid risk of postponement,s they fear a real risk of disruption to the season down the line with this new strain. Seems to me the government on past lies and mismanagement know something we don't.

balls the government know as much as us andyd.what they dont know and nor do the media theres a new strain in france, my mate who is an HGV driver and lives in Germany told me when he got to the french port to deliver something to here. a customs guy told him that. he told me last night.

Yeah, but who told the customs guy? His mate who works in a cafe, where one of the chefs moonlights there from his main job in a hospital canteen?

seems football may be back at gigg lane next season after a million pound government grant to buy the ground. there new problem is raising the same amount to see this happening. going to be hard for them without council help i,m afraid.
Well I say good luck to 'em!
When bigger clubs go into administration at the drop of a hat, it was nothing short of criminal they were allowed to go under in the first place.

Professional Footballer,s Association chief Mousino who plays for Oxford wants life time bans for any " fan " invading or encroachment on the pitch. He goes on to say what used to be someone coming on and trying to evade stewards in a comical chase has this season worryingly turned into violence and assault,s on players they could be coming towards you wanting a " selfie " or could be carrying a knife totally agree no excuse for encroaching the playing surface. Although if you had gone on Wednesday,s pitch you would probably have drowned.

No problem with that but I’d also not complain about yellow cards for goal scorers deliberately running towards opposition fans to taunt them. Scoring is the best response to fan abuse, but then taunting opposition fans just suggests some players are little better than the idiots in the crowd.
