Windows 8 is not on any new computer bought. Just ordered 2 new Dell PC's with Windows 7 on them

I have just replaced a laptop and I purposely chose one with Windows 7 on it.....though I did notice that they were getting harder(not hard) to find.
I called one supplier to ask if I could have the laptop which was on sale, but have Windows 7 on it.....he asked why would I want to have an old operating system.....I told him that was my business...could he supply one or not...No, was his reply. I went elsewhere.

Thats a good reason companies cease trading.

A lot of people forget that the customer is king cashy, money spends anywhere especially in this day and age

Its funny when I install win7 then do all the updates M$ make you aware of a handful of browsers and gives you the choice to choose an alternate one...

That is because a judge forced them to do it

I recall paying Dell £50 extra to have XP instead of Vista.

It was a no cost option - I suspect quite a few businesses are avoiding Windows 8 at the moment because of the impact it would have on productivity being to different to Windows 7

I have a couple pair of large headphones.... I wont use In-Ear headphones again after having to go to the hospital to have part of one removed from my ear!

stopped getting those when I ditched IE.

firefox is the best especially with adblock addon but google chrome is just one nasty peice of malware in its self but if you trust and like google then fair play to ya.

explorer used to be good but tehir security updates got further and further apart and too many bad things were been reported mainly due to microsofts lazyness so i switched

I have recently received two emails purporting to come from DHL and Royal Mail. One said there was a parcel to be collected by me from the depot, and the other said a parcel supposedly posted by me was held up at customs. Both emails had attachments which I did not open. This is a scam so be aware in case you get similar.
