Just had a plate of kippers.. got them from tesco.. in the bag type with a dab of butter, they were very tasty.. but had some fine bones in em.. this is 2007!.. so can anyone tell me were I can purchase kippers with no bones at all?

Not sure that you can Mancie, think its luck of the draw, may have a better chance at fish market though.

you can't, fish have bones, eat them and weep :D

or pay someone to chew all your food for you as they did in medieval times :D

nope, you can get 'parts' of them without bones, not all them, fish are a bit different in physiology

its a sodding smoked fish , what do you expect :D :D :D

you will be hard pressed to find a boned kipper unfortunately
as the bones are too fine to remove without destroying the whole fillet
(i know i tried it once )

As suggested, the only way is to get your maid to tweezer the little buggers out.

OK.. but it's sodding 2007!.. you would think you could get kippers with no bones in this day and age.
It would probably fall from together if they took all the bones out ...You will just have to suck your kipper and chuck the bones away......
By the way you have just made me fancy a kipper now,I might buy some tomorrow:cool:

Ok Granny.. and things have changed.. no need for your hubby to go out in the dangerous seas off the north coast.. if you ask your home help they could get some from asda/tesco. :D :D

Just looked up that what is known in Lancashire as Finny Haddock, is really called Finnon Haddock! Well you learn something new everyday.
