British summer time arrived in the early hours of Sunday morning...I knew it was coming, but I didn't change the clocks before I went to bed(as is my usual routine)......and hubby got up at what he thought was half past six...put on the Tv and all the channels were teling him it was half past seven. This flummoxed him good and proper. he had to ring daughter to ask her what time her TV was saying on the screen...he felt proper daft when she told him the clocks had gone forward an hour.

I don't like the dark winter days, but I do wish they would stop messing with the clocks...it leaves my body clock 'all out of juxtapose' as Keith Lemon would say.

Having said that, since we went onto BST, we have had a fair ration of sunshine.....just enough to fool you into thinking it is warm outside and go out in a thinner jacket...to find that you are freezing your cakes off...just enough to get you to strip the beds and load the washer up...to find that before the washer competes its cycle the black clouds have appeared from nowhere and it is pelting it down......with HAILSTONES!
Don't put the mothballs in your vests just yet!

I must have been lucky, I managed to dry my bedding on the washing line yesterday before the clouds blew in.
