If you log on today....Please will you visit the Gallery and look at the pictures in Competition number 17?

Once you have done this please take a moment to choose your favourite and vote.

It would mean such a lot to those of us who have put our pictures into the competition.

And if you have a camera, or an archive of photo's, then why not join us in the next comp?

Be in it...you could win it!
New Photo Competition 17 - Accrington Photo Gallery

I have even made it easier for you by giving you a link!

Go on...you know you want to! :)

Oh that's a shame Shaz....but you have until 10 pm so maybe if you are near a computer later...you will vote for o ne of the pics.
Thanks for looking anyway.

Well said, Margaret. Btw, there are some great photos in the competition, as always, but your Robin Redbreast really stands out - he (or she) is gorgeous.

Thank You.....personally I think the other Robin in the competition is far better than mine.....I could see that on a Christmas card.
And I hope no-one would think that I posted this plea for votes so that they would vote for me......each competition is happily entered by forum members with a hope that we will get more members involved in the competition.

We are all amateurs,we enjoy taking pics, we all like to give it a go....and Mick puts his efforts in to make the comp a success.....so please - all members get involved, whether this is by posting your own pics or just by voting...it all helps!

I'm not exactly sure if this thread has helped, but there does seem to have been a steady flow of people looking at the pics in this competition....and there is a small increase in votes too...for all who have shown interest...and voted......my thanks!

Well done Margaret, my vote was already in, but looks like you`ve managed to get a few more than usual. :)

Well, I just thought that Mick puts a lot of effort into making the comp a success...and would do something to remind the members to have a look at the entries and perhaps vote....and maybe they will look at what has been posted and think 'I could do better than that'...and Bob's your uncle...we have a comp that is a runaway success.

Many thanks to those who have looked and voted.

Great stuff!
We do need more members to be involved......it makes for a much more interesting competition...everyone interprets the subject differently...and even photo's that are similar, are different too.
